What’s in a number? Well, according to numerology, the ancient science of numbers, quite a bit. This aspect of astrology has been used for thousands of years to help people uncover and discover their life paths.
International numerologist Grainne Tyndall of Numbers4success, has been working in this field for over 26 years, helping people to realise and understand their life purpose, potential and skills.
‘Pythagoras would have formed a system that I would have trained in, but there’s many different forms of it,’ explains Grainne of the science of numbers. Your life number can reveal much about your personality and even predict some of what might lie ahead in your future.
The year 2023 is an interesting one, numbers-wise — and, as such, very different to last year. ‘So we are leaving 2022 behind us, which was a number six year [2+0+2+2=6], that of universal love,’ she explains.

‘Last year was about people coming together to support each other in a community-style way and also to recognise that we are all here to experience love in all its forms.
‘2023 has a very different vibe. It’s a number seven year (2+0+2+3=7), and that number is all about being given the opportunity to review and renew, and go inwards, to heal past traumas — maybe even those of the past few years,’ Grainne suggests.
‘It’s a year to recognise that when we strengthen the foundations of our lives, that all comes from our inner selves, so there could be an opportunity to take time to evaluate how far you have come this year and to learn new skills, and possibly do research in new and unexplored ways.’

Grainne is of the firm belief that this year will see science and spirituality come together in new and exciting ways. ‘People will be searching for complementary ways of healing their health and their lives,’ she predicts.
Here, Grainne examines the life paths of some famous Irish faces, and uncovers what 2023 might have in store for them…

JULY 2, 1986 NUMBER 6 LIFE PATH
Katie is a 33/6 which has that high perfectionist vibe, someone who has integrity and high spiritual awareness. She is currently in her power year her sixth year of a nine-year life cycle so this is a time to really enjoy the fruits of her labour.
She will enter year seven and maybe embark on something more reflective like writing, or a spiritual quest at that time.

MAY 7, 1983 NUMBER 6 LIFE PATH
Like Katie, this is a very interesting numerical combination of double creativity and the ability to manifest anything she wants.
There’s a lot more to Joanne than meets the eye, I believe, and she has a high sense of self with perfectionist tendencies. She is currently in her ninth year of a nine-year life cycle which is a series of endings, but come her birthday, she will head into a brand new number one year, which will bring in more opportunities in all areas of her life. She might decide to start a new venture personally.

MAY 25, 1976 NUMBER 8 LIFE PATH Again
Again, eights are extremely strong, focused people who will do everything in their power to succeed. This drive can sometimes be addictive in ways so Cillian needs to ensure he doesn’t overwork himself.
He is in his final year of a nine-year life cycle but he will be entering a year one next birthday, giving him an opportunity to reinvent himself. There may be a move away from acting into something completely different.

JULY 7, 1991 NUMBER 7 LIFE PATH
Seven is the number of the mystic, the wise one, and this year adds to a seven and it will be a powerful one for Eve. She may be doing some writing or research for a new project.
Either way, she will enter a number three year, which is about creation. I feel Eve is a very spiritual soul who also needs time away from the limelight as well as being in it, however I can see her being catapulted into it from her birthday onwards.

AUGUST 7, 1985 NUMBER 11 LIFE PATH
Pippa has quite a high vibrational number; 11s are usually highly creative people who are always seeking and searching for new ways of looking at life.
Currently in her third year of a nine-year cycle, she has been incredibly busy. Her fourth year is more stable and she’ll see her hard work over the last few years pay off.

JULY 13, 1970 NUMBER 1 LIFE PATH
Sharon is on a number one life path and she may have had some challenges to get the global fame she is experiencing right now but this is her time to shine.
She is currently in the eighth year of a nine-year life cycle and when she has her birthday she will tie up loose ends and make way for 2024, which I can feel will be an even more outstanding year for her.

MAY 19, 1992 NUMBER 9 LIFE PATH
This is the life path of a communicator and high values and deep awareness. She loves to be in a position of expression. She is in her second year of her nine-year cycle which is usually all about relationships — maybe she’s going into a more committed connection with someone.
When her birthday comes it’s a creative time — there is certainly a major new project on the cards.

31 MAY 1976 NUMBER 9 LIFE PATH
Colin has a multi-talented life path number. He is someone who, once he puts his mind to it, can do anything. Fives can also relate to addictive tendancies so I feel Colin has managed his demons but the year he is currently in means he has been out in the public a lot more than in recent years.
However, when he hits his birthday he will enter a more reclusive time, going inwards and reflecting and possibly shunning the limelight for a while.

OCTOBER 4, 1979 NUMBER 4 LIFE PATH
Caitriona is a wonderful actor, and fours are the hardest working of all the numbers. They will work day and night, are loyal and love feeling safe.
She has worked tirelessly to get to this point in her career and will have made a lot of choices and decisions in the last year. Next year she might take time to reflect and see who supports her, and what is no longer serving her on her journey and also in her relationships.

JANUARY 9, 1987 NUMBER 8 LIFE PATH
Nicola’s life path is all about success and the ability and drive to be ambitious. Eights are usually good business people and when they are in the flow, they can do anything. At times they can move too fast, even for themselves.
On her birthday next week, she will enter her power year so will have great success. Once she doesn’t overdo things and get the balance right, she will thrive.

Graham will be turning 60 this year, and similar to Doireann he will be entering his sixth year in a nine-year cycle, which tends to be around family.
It can also be centred around community, which could be related to his various career projects and business or maybe creating some type of foundation to help people.

‘Threes are the most creative of people. They are the ones who are expressive in many ways they can write, sing, dance, design and draw.
They can also network and bring people together so maybe Una might do some kind of celebrity show. She’s about to go into a year dominated by relationships, maybe where a union, either intimate or work-related, will possibly go to a deeper level.
